Wow! such a busy season and now its kinda all over...it is so good to be back at the Mission nevertheless! The Lord has been so good to me and I am so blessed. A much appreciated polaris hawkeye 300 was donated to me for the next 7 months that I am very grateful for. I have almost driven it 100miles already in this past week. That probably is a little more than a normal week but I thought it was essential to "break it into the Mission!" In the last day or so it has snowed about 2in and 10+in are on the way! This makes to be alot of fun with 4wheelers,snowboards,tubes,sleds,etc on the mountain.
Ok, so time to get serious...i would like to say once again thanks for all your prayers and support! I believe that this year is growing me in many ways that I hope to use to glorify my Savior in the days He allows me to serve Him and his people! This coming 2 weeks we will have intensive Biblical Counseling classes Lead by two pastors that are flying in. All morning we will be in Counseling class and mechanic technical class will be in the afternoon. Which reminds me that the practicum for the past week has been pulling the engine in my truck! This is the first engine that most of the guys have pulled and we are learning how the whole process works. We will be replacing both exhuast manifolds(rusted and bolts broke off), and a few minor other things that are much easier to replace when the engine is out the the truck.
Tyler(my roomate ) and I have almost completed our 3month shopping. We just need to stop by Sams and pick up some meat and sir fry we shall be done with shopping for a long time! FOOD :)
Todays sermon was on Habakkuk 3:17-19
Though the fig tree should not blossom,
nor fruit be on the vines,
the produce of the olive fail
and the fields yield no food,
the flock be cut off from the fold
and there be no heard in the stalls,
yet i will rejoice in the LORD;
i will take joy in the God of my salvation.
God, the Lord, is my strength;
he makes my feet like the deer's;
he makes me tread on my high places.
the the choirmaster: with stringed instruments.
May we rejoice in the LORD as Habakkuk did!
Have a great year!
